Thoughts

Some random thoughts

Why do only slow men work on roads? Don't they pay enough for fast men working?

If we are really experiencing a gas shortage, or crude oil, then why are the gas companies reporting record profits? It would seem to me that there is something fundamentally wrong with this picture.

However, they realize that the people of the US are too lethargic to actually do anything but whine about the situation, ditto for politicians. The reason we only have crooks, and people out for their own best interest, is that the yknow that we'll put up with them. America is too lethargic to change.

The war on drugs. There is no war on drugs. That's the handle they've put on the system they've put in place to rob us of our money, and possessions. Look at it this way: The drug administration - DEA, BATF, and down to the local task forces, all get their annual budget every year based on the number of forfeitures they made the year before. If they take all of the drugs off the street in one year, and consequently seize all the cars, boats, planes, homes and money of anyone and everyone they can connect to the "crime," then the next year they'd get a whopping budget! The problem being that after that year of no seizures, they would get a zero budget, and be out of business. Legalize Marijuana? Not in this lifetime.

The war is on the American People, and on the Constitution, and it's been going on since the early 20th century. Teddy Roosevelt was known for busting big business, and that was a good thing. Except that it left a vacuum. The vacuum remained for 18 years, until his cousin Franklin brought in his "New Deal." Roosevelt's "New Deal" was that the government would fill the vacuum left by big business. It would take away all of our freedom and give us "security." We could trade the success we gained from our own efforts for the knowledge that we were now "secure." Every President since Roosevelt has endorsed or expanded his efforts. Now the US government doesn't issue US currency. It in fact, has nothing to do with it at all.

We are no longer a "Federal Republic." We are now a "Social Democracy." Just ask any hardline Democrat. The problem is, if you ask a Republican, he or she will dance around the issue, but ultimately will say the same thing. Why? Because they not only want to control us, they do control us.

Say you're buying your house form the bank. Will you ever own it? "Sure," you say. "When I ge the mortgage paid off I sure will." Wrong! Pay off your house, get the title in your name, free and clear, then neglect to pay the taxes on it for a time, usually 3 years, but they can seize it within 90 days. "But," you say, "I own my car!" True, maybe, but do you have the right to drive it? Neglect to pay the taxes on your car, or for that matter th einsurance, and see how much of that car you actually do own.

The truth of the matter is, we in the good old US of A don't actually own anything, not even our time, anymore. "Our time?" You say. "Now, come on!" Think about it. How much of your work week is spent buying your tax debt off? How much of it is spent buying insurance? What would happen to you if you decided to keep all of the money you made, and not give any of it to the government, or government sponsored special interest groups? When was the last time you saw a Physician making a house-call? or taking goods in trade for services rendered? Or for that matter, setting their prices at a reasonable enough rate to be affordable? If you are under 45, the answer is "Never" to all of the above. Why? Because the AMA is a special interest group, and they've made it clear to Physicians all around the country that if they don't do things their way, then they won't be licensed, or sponsored by the AMA to practice medicine. This was endorsed by our government, by the way.

Back to silly: When are they going to stop "practicing" medicine and get it right?

Back to serious: Did you know that during the Roman Civil War, that when he was going to take over Rome, Julius Caesar admonished his troops to leave the common citizens alone, and to only kill the lawyers and politicians? Sounds like a good idea from 2050 or so years ago.

Don't even get me started on sales taxes.
